As an experienced placemaking leader Andrew has over 20 years’ success across both public and private sectors. As a consultant to some of the UK’s most innovative urban design and culture-led regeneration teams, he has a proven ability to shape vibrant, sustainable places.
Specialising in whole-place strategy development, public/private partnerships, planning, and programme delivery Andrew has secured over £52 million in capital investment, delivering 36 major projects spanning public realm and commercial development. His work has generated £9.8 million in additional revenue for essential Council services and helped sustain more than 900 jobs.
Andrew’s strengths lie in visioning, stakeholder engagement, business analysis, and commissioning. He is a confident negotiator and communicator, experienced in working with communities, businesses, elected members, and government agencies. Regularly representing Local Authorities at regional and national forums he has taken numerous projects from concept to completion and as a consultant to other councils, has helped unlock over £168 million of investment across the UK.
