Alison is a Cultural Consultant who has supported heritage organisations since 2014, working across arts, culture, natural heritage, museums, galleries, and public spaces. She collaborates with a broad range of clients—from grassroots groups and local authorities to universities and national institutions—as both an independent consultant and project partner.

With a background in social research, Alison has extensive experience in developing and implementing bespoke evaluation frameworks for complex, multi-year cultural and heritage projects. She uses research, consultation, and engagement to shape strategic audience development plans and has led fundraising for major capital projects, including the creation of fundraising strategies. Alison has a strong track record of securing funding from major bodies such as the NLHF, Arts Council England, Historic England, and UK Government departments.

She supports cultural projects through their full lifecycle—from strategic planning and fundraising to evaluation and impact reporting.
